This is another piece where my client gave me a few parameters and just asked me to “run with it.” The Events Chair of the Topanga Chamber of Commerce gave me some loose concepts that fit with her theme of unplugged folk music. Topanga Canyon is a very rustic, country community hidden in Los Angeles, so she wanted to see a few of the local animals in the image, along with some musical instruments.
Not only was she thrilled with the poster design, canyon residents still talk about the poster and how it captured the spirit of Topanga.
