These are some portraits that I did recently for an online MBA program. I think I did about 20 of these. They were a lot of fun to do, I loved solving the problem of using a mostly monochromatic palette, yet making certain areas stand out.
The client asked for some backgrounds that would provide some interest but not overpower the people. I created some super simple geometric patterns that I could reuse and provide a contiguous motif throughout the project.
I think I just wrote “contiguous motif” for the first time in my life. I could have said “style” and it would have done just fine. Oh well.
